Take Flight was written by the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, Texas. The Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning Disorders at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is internationally recognized in the field of learning disorders.
Take Flight is a two year program consisting of seven student books.
Instruction in Take Flight takes place in small groups of students for 45 minute sessions four times per week.
During a session, students take part in a variety of multisensory activities that are designed to enhance memory and learning.
